  • Once you've found the perfect package for your day, I'll send over a contract and booking details. Your date is officially reserved once your signed contract and deposit have been received. After that, we can start looking forward to your big day!

  • Of course! Every wedding is different, and I want you to have coverage that fits your day. We'll talk about your timeline, the moments that matter most to you, and what you'd love to see in your finished film. Together, we'll find the package that makes the most sense for you.

We can explore options like additional hours, drone coverage, or a combination of services that better fits your day.

  • Absolutely! If you need a little extra time beyond what's included in your package, additional coverage may be available. Whether it's getting ready in the morning or keeping the cameras rolling a little longer into the reception, we can discuss what works best for your timeline.

    Additional coverage is $250 per hour, subject to availability.

  • I require a deposit to reserve your wedding date, but I'm happy to discuss payment options for the remaining balance. I know weddings come with plenty of expenses, and my goal is to make the booking process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.

  • Yes! J. Stowe Films carries professional liability insurance, and I'm happy to provide proof of coverage if your venue requires it.

  • Absolutely! Travel within two hours of Colorado Springs, Colorado, is included in your package price.

    Weddings beyond this area may require additional travel or lodging fees. Any applicable costs will always be discussed and agreed upon in writing before booking, so there are no surprises.

  • Absolutely! I'll coordinate with your photographer to make sure we both capture the moments we need while giving you the space to enjoy your wedding.

    My goal is for everything to feel natural and relaxed, never like a production. We're both there to capture your day beautifully!

  • Think of the highlight film as the trailer: a 5–10 minute film bringing together the best moments, emotions, and memories from your wedding day. It's the one you'll want to rewatch and share with everyone!

    The feature film is the fuller story: 20–40 minutes with more room for your vows, speeches, and all those meaningful in-between moments. It gives you the chance to experience your day in greater detail.

    Both bring you right back to your wedding day, just in different ways. The highlight is perfect for sharing, while the feature gives you more of the memories you'll want to revisit for years to come.

  • Audio is one of the most important parts of a wedding film! I use professional microphones and recording equipment to capture the words and sounds that make your day special.

    Depending on your package and venue, I also use multiple camera angles to capture different perspectives. I want you to be able to hear those meaningful words and experience those moments again.

  • You can expect your finished wedding film within 8–12 weeks. Every film is carefully edited to bring together the moments, emotions, and details that made your wedding unique.

    I'll keep you informed throughout the process, and I can't wait for you to relive your day!

  • Music plays a huge role in setting the tone of your wedding film! You're always welcome to share songs, artists, or styles of music you love.

    While I can't always use a specific song due to music licensing requirements, I'll work to find music that captures the feeling of your day and complements your story.

  • Every wedding film is thoughtfully edited to tell the story of your day, and I put a lot of care into the final product. Because of this, I don't offer revisions once your finished film has been delivered.

    I always encourage couples to share any special moments, people, or details they want me to focus on before the wedding so I can keep those things in mind throughout the filming and editing process.

  • Yes! Drone coverage is available as a $500 add-on to the Ceremony and Basic packages, and it's already included in Gold and Platinum.

    You're not just getting beautiful aerial footage—you're also getting a licensed drone operator to capture it safely and professionally.

    Drone coverage is subject to weather conditions, venue restrictions, and applicable flight regulations.

  • Yes! When you book J. Stowe Films, you're booking me! I'll personally be there to capture your wedding day, from the big moments to the little details you might not even notice happening.

    For packages that include drone coverage, my brother also joins me to capture those beautiful aerial perspectives.

  • A little rain doesn't mean we can't capture beautiful memories! I come prepared with rain gear and can adapt to changing conditions throughout the day.

    If the weather makes certain equipment unsafe to use, like the drone, I'll adjust the plan and focus on what we can safely capture. Your day doesn't have to be perfect to make a beautiful film.
